Focus: There are times when acting in a straightforward manner can be to our detriment. As much as we might prefer to be transparent in our dealings, just lay everything out on the table, sometimes tact, diplomacy and discretion are in order.

Do:

Be tactful and diplomatic.
Be sure you understand your goal.
Be sure what you wish is yours to have.

Don’t:

Deceive yourself or others.
Feel guilt or shame.
Take what isn’t yours.
